The former convener of selectors of the South African Schools Rugby Association (SASRA), Ronald Bantam, was selected as vice-chairman of the association at their annual general meeting in Cape Town yesterday. He opposed Danny Jones (Western Province) for the position.

Lindsay Mould, chairman of SASRA, was unopposed in his position and will stay in this role for the next two years. The Central Region got a further boost with Johan Vorster (Free State) and André Vorster (Northern Free State) both being selected as national selectors for the next two years. They oust Sakkie van der Walt (Blue Bulls - Affies) and SW Reinders (Lions - Monument) for the two positions. George de la Hunt of the Valke will fill Bantam's shoes as convener of selectors.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
